In the MakerSpace you can gain knowledge and skills, be inspired by others, learn, share, find friends, finish off projects or start something new in this creative, friendly, spacious room.

Kinglake Historical Society
The Kinglake Historical Society works to collect and preserve the information and memorabilia related to the history of the district.
The group meets regularly to collate and catalogue information and photos, or at other times by arrangement.
KHS encourages and welcomes new members to support the preservation of our history.

Kinglake Ranges Arts
Welcome all artists, budding artists and art enthusiasts.
Kinglake Ranges Arts aim to unite and encourage local artists of all genres and levels of expertise. Our workshops provide opportunities to learn something new or improve existing skills and are suitable for all levels of experience, including beginners.

Kinglake Landcare
Kinglake Landcare works with community for the preservation, enhancement and appreciation of the local environment. The group is involved with roadside and creek rejuvenation work and can provide information and assistance for landholders.
Anyone is welcome to our monthly meetings.
Events include regular tree planting, weed eradication, plant & animal surveys and a variety of environmental presentations. For information about current activities see the Landcare article in the Mountain Monthly or join our email circulation list.

Buzz of the Bees
Buzz of the Bees is a group of beekeepers and “wanna bees” who get together to support others and discuss Bees, and Bee related topics, in a friendly casual group. If you live in the area and keep or would like to keep bees, then this is the place to meet and greet!
Two local beekeepers, Sue Zuber and Vin Anderson, share their vast knowledge and experience and invite you along to fun and informal discussions and sharing of ideas. Whether you are a beginner or long-time beekeeper, we’d love you to come and join us and tell your bee-tale.

Knit Knacks
Knit Knacks main focus is knitting and crochet but we explore spinning, weaving and felting intermittently. We run in-house workshops on areas of interest as the need arises. We share our skills and knowledge freely as well as patterns, yarns and needles.
We warmly welcome anyone who would like to share our passion for all things textile and especially anyone who would like to try something for the first time. We indulge ourselves with occasional excursions to yarn suppliers, of course with lunch.

Kinglake Heritage Centre
